Who Allowed You to Get on the Bed - Chapter 2

This man was so cold and so unfeeling, how could it make her love him for so many years?

She thought about this question more than once, but she couldn't find the answer everytime. Maybe she didn't even want to find this answer.

But this time, he actually did not turn away after getting the whereabouts of Long Hu. The pair of sharp ink eyes and without emotions fell on her body.

Du Linglan felt inexplicably guilty.

He was very drunk last night. He didn't even know that it wasn't Long Hu that he went to bed with, but this shameless woman.

Because of her guilty conscience, she stood still more straight than usual. She didn't want him to discover the fact that she was so tired and couldn't stand now. The hickey between her neck was carefully covered by the turtleneck sweater, so even the savvy like Han Luoting would not know her secrets.

Right! This was regarded as her own secret. She would never say to anyone and would never let anyone know.

She knew too well how to dispel his doubts about her. For him, she was simply arranging to spy around Long Hu. Everything in Long Hu was so well known to him was all because of her.

Every day, she seemed to live in the days of a double-sided person. She strongly pressed down her love for him, told him the news of the woman he loved, then saw satisfaction or dissatisfaction on his face, his mood like this affected her emotions.

However, she told herself that everything was enough.

She didn't want to go on like this anymore, so Long Hu thing, she only picked the important things that were life safety and death matter and reported it to him. Others, as long as Long Hu told her worry, she always refused as before everything would report to him.

Han Luoting looked at the straight and delicate figure. There was a flash of an image in his brain. However, the image was too fast and too vague he couldn’t catch it. He couldn’t control his gaze and fell on her seemingly straight, actually crumbling figure.

"If you are tired, go rest. Fifth Miss will be protected by me." Rarely, he opened his mouth and let her go for a half-day vacation.

His words really surprised her because, at any time, the safety of Long Hu was always in the first place for him, but now he said that he would give her time to rest.

However, such a consideration she didn’t need. "Thank you, leader, but I think I can continue to do my duty. If there is nothing else, Linglan will retreat." She lowered her head, lowered her eyes, and covered all her emotions just like her voice she looked so respectful.

In his heart, for the purpose of her lowering head appearance was a burst of anger that he didn’t understand. Han Luoting had already forgotten the girl who always followed him like his little tail, when did she become this woman that only respected him now.

In fact, he didn’t need to be so angry with such a small thing. However, the more he looked at the top of her head, the more anger between his chest, and the more he couldn't help but want to break out.

But in the end, he endured it, just lightly whispered, and left the greenhouse to find the woman who occupied the most important place in his heart.

The footsteps that left made Du Linglan look up and there were tears in the bottom of her eyes. She just didn't want him to see that she was so weak and useless.

The tears of a woman, except for Long Hu, were all disdainful and worthless to him.

She knew because she had been with him for more than ten years.

🍁🍁🍁🍁🍁🍁🍁🍁🍁

Fifteen years ago.

A pink doll sitting in a quiet corner looked at the children playing together in front of her with a pair of big eyes.

She had a half-person high big rabbit doll with her in her hand. She couldn't live without this rabbit doll because this was her papa and mama, the last gift they left for her.

That day... it was her birthday. She was waiting at home for her parents to come back, but she waited for a long time, and finally waited for the staff of the social welfare agency and the rabbit doll.

The staff of the social welfare agency said that her parents had a car accident and died on the spot. Since her parents were orphans, they had to send her to the orphanage. Two days later, she was sent here.

When she first arrived in a strange environment, she was so afraid. Late in the evening, she sobbed to find her papa and mama until a staff that took care of them yelled at her impatiently: "Your parents are dead! Dead! Don't you know what is dead means? That is, they will never come back again, far away, forever, everything will not see! Even if you cry, they won’t come back, do you understand?"

She stayed where she was, staring at the staff with a pair of tearful eyes. Later, she never saw the staff again. She heard that the dean had heard her yell at her, so she fired the staff.

Although she could no longer hear those hurtful sentences, those words had already taken root in her little heart.

She became a child that no one wanted. If no one wanted to adopt her, she would stay in the orphanage until she reached adulthood and would leave.

At a young age, she didn't know what it was called adoption. She just kept shrinking in the corner of the hall, holding her rabbit doll, not asking the world, and ignoring other people.

There were very few people that came to the orphanage to adopt children because most people didn’t want children that were unidentified, for fear that they would bring trouble to themselves. As the number of children increased, the distribution of resources became more and heavier. And the staff that took care of them were often too busy. There was no time to pay attention to her who was always sitting quietly in the corner and there was no time to save her from being bullied by other children.

I think "doll" is cute so I didn't change it lol. I can change it to either "baby" or "a child", but still I think "doll" is cuter? 😂 Or is baby sounds cuter? 😙
